Welcome to the Atlantis ITS print station! This guide covers everything you need to print from your phone, tablet, laptop, or even from across town — using the Epson ET-4958 EcoTank in the Atlantis home office.

No ink cartridges, no fuss. The EcoTank uses refillable ink bottles, so you can print freely without worrying about running out.

💡 TIP: The quickest way to print for most people is AirPrint (iPhone/iPad) or Email to Print (any device, anywhere). Both take less than a minute.

2. Printing from Your Device

📱 iPhone & iPad — AirPrint (Easiest Option)

No app install needed — AirPrint is built right into iOS.

  1. Connect your phone to the home Wi-Fi
  2. Open the photo or document you want to print
  3. Tap the Share button (the square with the arrow pointing up)
  4. Scroll down and tap Print
  5. Select EPSON ET-4958 Series from the printer list
  6. Choose your number of copies and tap Print

💡 TIP: Works with photos, PDFs, web pages, emails, and most documents right out of the box — no setup required.

🤖 Android — Google Pixel, Samsung, and Others

A quick one-time setup gets you printing in seconds every time after that.

  1. Connect to the home Wi-Fi
  2. Download Epson Print Enabler from the Google Play Store (free, one-time install)
  3. Open your document or photo
  4. Tap the three dots (Menu) → Print
  5. Select EPSON ET-4958 Series
  6. Tap the print button

💡 TIP: Once Epson Print Enabler is installed, you never need to touch it again — it runs quietly in the background and makes the printer show up automatically.

💻 Chromebook

  1. Click the Clock / Status Area in the bottom-right corner of the screen
  2. Click Settings ⚙️
  3. In the search bar, type Printers and click on it
  4. The ET-4958 should appear automatically — click Add or Save
  5. You're all set! Print from any app using Ctrl + P

3. 📧 Print From Anywhere — Epson Email Print

Not on the home Wi-Fi? No problem. You can send a print job from literally anywhere in the world by emailing the printer directly.

The printer's email address:

How to use it:

  1. Open your email app on any device
  2. Create a new email to the address above
  3. Attach your document or photo (PDF, JPEG, Word Doc all work)
  4. Hit Send
  5. The printer will automatically wake up and print your attachment — it'll be waiting in the tray!

⚠️ NOTE: The subject line and body of the email are ignored — only attachments get printed. Make sure your file is attached, not pasted inline.

💡 TIP: This is perfect for the Atlantis Travels side of the business — clients or guests can email boarding passes, booking confirmations, or itineraries directly to the printer from their own devices, no Wi-Fi needed.

4. 📲 Wi-Fi Direct — Print Without the Home Network

If a guest can't or doesn't want to join the home Wi-Fi, the ET-4958 can create its own private direct connection.

To set up Wi-Fi Direct:

  1. On the printer screen, go to Settings → Wi-Fi Settings → Wi-Fi Direct
  2. Tap Start Setup for a smart device
  3. The printer displays a QR code on its screen
  4. Guest scans the QR code with their phone camera
  5. Their phone joins the printer's direct network automatically
  6. They can now print without touching your home Wi-Fi

💡 TIP: Snap a photo of the QR code with your Pixel Fold and keep it saved — you can show guests the photo to scan instead of going through the printer menu every time.

6. 🛠️ Troubleshooting

Don't panic — most issues have a simple fix!
